Charles River Associates (NASDAQ: CRAI), a worldwide leader in providing economic, financial, and management consulting services, today announced the addition of Ryan Bilbrey and Andy Obuchowski who are joining the Forensic Services Practice as vice presidents in New York and Boston, respectively. Mr. Bilbrey leads high profile eDiscovery and structured data engagements, directing the identification, collection, analysis, processing, and hosted review of electronically stored information (ESI), typically for matters that are in litigation or under investigation. Mr. Obuchowski leads engagements in the areas of data breach, incident response, and digital forensics, and deepens the practice’s expertise in international cyber investigations.

Mr. Bilbrey will lead CRA’s eDiscovery and Structured Data solutions, which are both areas in which proven processes and technologies are invaluable across the full range of forensic investigation, cyber response, and dispute resolution assignments. These solutions help clients preserve, collect, process, analyze, review, report on, and produce relevant electronic data from traditional eDiscovery data sources as well as complex structured data maintained in disparate databases. Mr. Bilbrey’s project experience covers a wide range of litigation and investigation matters, including class action lawsuits, mortgage lending and mortgage-backed securities, environmental litigation, and regulatory, fraud, anti-money laundering, and kickback investigations across a variety of industries. He has provided expert testimony in deposition regarding financial and accounting database analysis, as well as in areas pertaining to data backup, retention protocols, and the restoration of data. Mr. Bilbrey also has provided expert testimony in federal court related to the collection and processing of ESI. He received a BS degree in Finance and Management from Trinity University.

Mr. Obuchowski provides additional leadership for our Cyber Crime Investigation solution, strengthening CRA’s footprint in the northeastern United States and bringing expertise in international cyber security incidents and related services. He leads engagements in the areas of data breach, incident response, and digital forensics. Mr. Obuchowski has more than 20 years of experience, including 12 years of law enforcement investigations, instruction at numerous police academies, and longtime membership in several computer and financial crime task forces. He is a frequent speaker on cyber crime investigations, information security, and digital forensics, and holds multiple related certifications. He is also an adjunct professor at Anna Maria College. Mr. Obuchowski received a BS degree in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College and a Master’s degree in National Security & Public Safety from the University of New Haven.
