TORONTO, Jan. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX: CJR.B) announced today the voting results from its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") held on January 14, 2014.

A total of 3,266,262 Class A Shares, representing 95.1% of the Company's issued and outstanding Class A Voting Shares, were voted in connection with the meeting. All matters put forth at the meeting, including the appointment of auditors, ratification of unallocated entitlements under the Company's Stock Option Plan, the fixing of the number of directors at 11 and the election of directors, were approved by a large majority of the voting shareholders as detailed in the Company's filing on www.sedar.com.
