CHL, announces the appointment of Rebecca Shelley as a non-executive director with effect from 24 July 2023. Rebecca brings extensive commercial and financial services experience to the Board, as well as her background in investor relations and communications roles at public companies. Having been Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Director at Norwich Union plc from 1998-2000, Rebecca moved to Prudential plc in 2000, starting as Investor Relations Director, and then became Group Communications Director with a seat on their group executive committee.

From 2012 to 2016, Rebecca was the Group Communications Director of Tesco plc and a member of their Executive Committee. During this time she held positions on the board of the British Retail Consortium and was a trustee of the Institute of Grocery Distribution. In her final executive role Rebecca spent three years at broker TP ICAP plc as Group Corporate Affairs Director, and was a member of the global executive committee.

Rebecca currently serves as a non-executive director of Sabre Insurance, Liontrust Asset Management and Hilton Food Group. In her various non-executive director roles, she has served on remuneration (including as chair), nomination, audit and risk committees and as the senior independent director. She is also chair of the sustainability committee at Hilton Food Group.

Rebecca will serve on CHL's Nomination and Remuneration Committees, and will join Conduit's ESG Committee.
