Recently, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a globally renowned ESG rating organization, released its most updated rating results for enterprises around the world. Concord New Energy Group Limited ("the Group") participated in the rating for the first time and received a Grade B rating in climate change.

The rating by CDP was divided into eight grades ranging from Grade A to Grade D- in a descending order. The report disclosed that the average rating for global and Asian enterprises was Grade C while that for enterprises in renewable power generation was Grade B-. As for the Group, participating for the first time, the Grade B rating given by the CDP clearly demonstrated that a management level in the environmental sustainable development governance has been achieved by the Group and a satisfactory management framework and risk management approaches have been well established specifically for environmental issues. This signifies another affirmation from an international rating organization following Grade A rating in ESG by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI).

As a non-profit organization headquartered in London, CDP is an internationally authoritative ESG rating facility that is equally renowned as MSCI and S&P Global Inc. (using Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, DJSI). CDP mainly measures and assesses the risks and opportunities on climate change, water security and forests. In 2022, over 18,000 enterprises around the world participated in the rating by CDP, accounting for more than half of the world's total market value.
