Mr Kidd joined Coalworks in May 2009 as Operations Manager
and is a key member of the senior management team developing
Coalworks' portfolio of high quality coal assets in New South
Wales, namely the Vickery South, Ferndale and Oaklands North
projects.
Mr Kidd will report directly to Coalworks' Board and will
continue to lead the company's highly experienced engineering
and geological team from Bankable Feasibility Studies to the
construction, start-up and production phases for each
project.
Mr Kidd will continue with his role on the Joint Venture
Committees for Vickery South and Ferndale, where he has
developed strong working relationships with Coalworks' Joint
Venture partners.
Mr Kidd is the current Chairman of the Gunnedah Basin Coal
Producers Group which includes Coalworks, BHPB, Whitehaven,
Aston Resources, Shenhua, Idemitsu and Bloomfield.

Mr Kidd has had extensive experience in the coal industry
having held senior roles for a variety of companies related
to numerous coal, power, petrochemical and mining
projects.
Prior to joining Coalworks, Mr Kidd was NSW Coal Business
Manager at Connell Hatch, where he was responsible for the
growth and administration of the company's coal business in
South East Australia. This role included work for BHP
Billiton at Caroona, all of the company's activities in the
Newcastle and Hunter Valley coal infrastructure, and other
contracts in open-cut and underground coal mines in the
region.
Most notably, Mr Kidd was Managing Director at Sedgman &
Associates for more than a decade, specialising in the design
and construction of mine surface works and coal processing
and handling plants. This role also included mine design work
with Sedgman- BMC, a joint venture with British Mining
Consultants.
