Bitcoin made its longest rally since September this week. As day traders monitor the $44k resistance levels, longs remain bullish and are prepared to 'hodl' in the face of volatility. While this macro-indicator has been dominating the investment news cycle, several companies in the cryptocurrency business have had major announcements of their own. With BTC news flying in from all directions, these stocks may see a delayed reaction as the markets catch up with their developments.

For instance, Marketing Worldwide Corp. (OTCMKTS: MWWC), developer of crypto mining platform 'Minosis', released beta testing results that prove the platform's viability. The company projects profits for 2022 with only 1000 testers, once the platform goes live these numbers could multiply quickly.

This may not have been the most significant announcement in the release, however, MWWC has retained BlockchainX to push forward its proprietary coin, the Minosis Token "$MWS." While Minosis will be able to mine BTC, ETC, and four other top cryptocurrencies, MWS could be its greatest revenue generator in the long run. Especially if it can follow in the footsteps of meme currencies like $DOGE or $SHIB who made news of its own recently after Steven Cooper, CEO of Bigger Entertainment, started to rally the #shibarmy to burn of 1 billion SHIB tokens.

News like this may have evaded investors due to the sheer amount of bitcoin noise, but based on $MWWC's corporate Twitter, there are several more updates to come over the next month and a half. Any of them could be a catalyst for MWWC stock.

While OTC companies such as MWWC get a bit less publicity than Nasdaq crypto investments, they share the exchange with popular digital economy pioneer, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (OTCMKTS: GBTC). David LaValle, the Managing Director and Global Head of ETFs for GTBC's parent company Grayscale Investments spoke with Yahoo Finance in an illuminating conversation about the future of Grayscale and the digital economy at large.

Grayscale's new public ETF (NYSE: GFOF) is dubbed the 'future of finance' and said to be a less volatile way to invest in crypto and other fintech.

It's certainly an exciting time for crypto bulls, MWWC wasn't the only company with earnings-related news Wednesday. CleanSpark, Inc. (Nasdaq: CLSK) celebrated its one-year anniversary as a bitcoin miner by announcing its fiscal 2022 Q1 results.

CLSK highlights include increased quarterly revenues ($41.2 million from $38.9 million), positive net income of $14.5 million or $0.35 basic income per share which was a major improvement over the $7.2 million loss it booked last year during the same period, and a $24.1 million EBITDA.

Ground-breaking gains in the crypto mining sector have been commonplace Bitfarms (Nasdaq: BITF) also had huge mining results recently, and even upstart Graystone (OTCMKTS: GYST) announced revenues for January that exceeded its entire 2021 output.

If Marketing Worldwide ($MWWC) can follow in the footsteps of these mining revenue generators early investors will be ecstatic.

That's your crypto news for now.
