Entered into Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

with China Merchants Shekou

China South City Holdings Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that China South City Group Company Limited*, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, have signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings Co., Ltd.* (the "China Merchants Shekou") on 1 September 2021, for focusing research on the asset integration and land development of the Group.

In the abovementioned cooperation, both parties have shown a high degree of compatibility in strategic development, and each give full play to their advantages, focusing on extensive and in- depth development of urban commercial complexes, real estate development, urban renewal (including old city reconstruction), commercial operations and property management.

China Merchants Shekou (a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, stock code: 001979.SZ) is the flagship urban development company of China Merchants Group. It is also an important core asset integration and business collaboration platform of China Merchants Group in China.
