The board of directors of the China Digital Culture (Group) Limited informed the shareholders of the company and potential investors that, based on the preliminary review of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2020, it is anticipated that the Group will record a decrease in consolidated loss attributable to the Shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2020 of HKD 354,578,000 as compared to the loss attributable to Shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2019 of HKD 419,868,000. Based on the information currently available, the loss attributable to the Shareholders was mainly attributable to the following factors: Impairment on goodwill due to the economic contraction stemming from the COVID-19 virus and Decrease in revenue due to economic contraction stemming from the COVID-19 virus.
