Cheniere Energy reported that its Board of Directors (Board) has appointed Patricia K. Collawn and Lorraine Mitchelmore to serve as members of the Board, as of July 1, 2021. Collawn and Mitchelmore are considered independent directors. Collawn has been appointed to the Audit and Compensation Committees and Mitchelmore has been appointed to the Audit and Governance and Nominating Committees. Collawn is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of PNM Resources, Inc. Collawn joined PNM Resources in 2007 from Public Service Company of Colorado, where she served as President and CEO. Collawn has served on the board of directors of Equitrans Midstream Corp. since April 2020, and previously served on the board of directors of CTS Corp. Collawn also previously served as Chairman of the Electric Power Research Institute and Chairman of the Edison Electric Institute. Mitchelmore has over 30 years of international oil and gas industry experience and most recently served as President and CEO of Enlighten Innovations Inc., a Calgary-based clean technology company. Mitchelmore is also the Former Executive Vice President, Americas Heavy Oil for Royal Dutch Shell, and Former Shell Canada Limited President and Canada Country Chair. Mitchelmore has served on the board of directors of Suncor Energy, Inc. since November 2019, and the Bank of Montreal since May 2015. Mitchelmore previously served on the board of directors of TransMountain Corp. Cheniere also reported that Nuno Brandolini has retired from its Board, as of July 1, 2021. Brandolini has served as a member of the Board since 2000 and was a member of the Governance and Nominating and Compensation Committees.
Cheniere Energy, Inc. (Cheniere) is an energy infrastructure company primarily engaged in liquefied natural gas (LNG)-related businesses. It owns and operates two natural gas liquefaction and export facilities at the Sabine Pass LNG and Corpus Christi LNG terminal. Sabine Pass LNG terminal located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, which has natural gas liquefaction facilities consisting of six operational natural gas liquefaction Trains for a total production capacity of over 30 million tons per annum (mtpa) of LNG (the SPL Project). Corpus Christi LNG terminal near Corpus Christi, Texas, owns and operates three Trains for a total production capacity of approximately 15 mtpa of LNG. In addition, the Company operates a 21.5-mile natural gas supply pipeline that interconnects the Corpus Christi LNG terminal with several interstate and intrastate natural gas pipelines.
