Changs Ascending Enterprise Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 76.929 million compared to TWD 5.058 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 8.789 million compared to TWD 25.421 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 7.946 million compared to TWD 48.853 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.14 compared to TWD 0.87 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 165.031 million compared to TWD 8.861 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 9.687 million compared to TWD 53.015 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 7.885 million compared to TWD 74.063 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.14 compared to TWD 1.32 a year ago.
CHANGS ASCENDING ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company engaged in the manufacture and distribution of lithium batteries and the related materials. The Company primarily offers lithium iron phosphate oxide cathode materials, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices, as well as lithium-iron assembled batteries, among others. In addition, the Company is involved in the provision of battery related technical services, sale of chargers and raw materials, as well as leasing. Its products are applied in the robots, golf cars, solar light emitting diode (LED), power tools, lawn mowers, lighting systems, home appliances and others. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia.
