Chang Wah Technology Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 3,777.74 million compared to TWD 3,070.61 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 784.82 million compared to TWD 311.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.836 compared to TWD 0.352 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.836 compared to TWD 0.352 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 7,409.15 million compared to TWD 5,790.92 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,486.55 million compared to TWD 548.61 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.584 compared to TWD 0.62 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.584 compared to TWD 0.62 a year ago.
CHANG WAH TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based lead frame manufacturer. The Company's main products is involved in integrated circuit (IC) lead frames, encapsulated resin and light emitting diode (LED) lead frames. The Company's products are used in the IC industry and the optoelectronic industry. The lead frame can be divided into three categories including integrated circuit lead frame, photovoltaic element lead frame and light emitting diode lead frame according to the different chips. The Company distributes its products mainly to Asia and Europe.
