Century Iron and Steel Industrial Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 2,312.91 million compared to TWD 3,246.56 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 158.47 million compared to TWD 386.25 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.68 compared to TWD 1.67 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.68 compared to TWD 1.64 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 6,277.42 million compared to TWD 7,281.87 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 510.9 million compared to TWD 1,076.36 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.2 compared to TWD 4.67 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.18 compared to TWD 4.58 a year ago.
CENTURY IRON AND STEEL INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the processing, manufacture, installation and distribution of steel structures and architectural components. The Company is involved in the manufacture of steel structures for building construction; construction of industrial plans and warehouses, large shopping malls, gymnasiums and parking lots; as well as the manufacture of structural bridges and incinerators, equipment type steel structures and various welded steels. The Company operates its businesses mainly in Taiwan.
