Century Iron and Steel Industrial Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 3,218.82 million compared to TWD 1,740.86 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 230.84 million compared to TWD 12.7 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.99 compared to TWD 0.05 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.98 compared to TWD 0.05 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 5,894.1 million compared to TWD 3,964.51 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 278.63 million compared to TWD 352.43 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.2 compared to TWD 1.52 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.19 compared to TWD 1.5 a year ago.

The Company is involved in the manufacture of steel structures for building construction; construction of industrial plans and warehouses, large shopping malls, gymnasiums and parking lots; as well as the manufacture of structural bridges and incinerators, equipment type steel structures and various welded steels. The Company operates its businesses mainly in Taiwan.
