(Alliance News) - Cellular Goods PLC on Wednesday said it became the first cannabigerol-based skincare brand in Sephora UK's 'Pick and Mix' and 'Check Out' promotion.

The London-based cannabidiol-focused skincare brand said its face serum would be available as part of the programme from late October onwards, marking the first opportunity to leverage its retail strategy within Sephora to drive customer growth.

This includes expanding its sales channels and increasing its collaboration with established online and high street outlets, Cellular Goods said.

"I'm thrilled that our products will be a part of Sephora UK's fall promotions campaign this year. Participation in their promotions are a great way for our brand and products to gain more visibility and traction with new and existing customers," said Interim Chief Executive Officer Darcy Taylor.

"Being included across all the promotional materials for Sephora UK's fall campaign will be a strong catalyst for sales and revenue growth. Our participation in Sephora's sampling program is part of our continued customer acquisition strategy, to increase awareness of our products and grow existing sales channels."

Shares in Cellular Goods were down 4.0% to 0.41 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
