CBIZ, Inc. (NYSE:CBZ) acquired substantially all the assets of Centric Insurance Agency on January 2, 2014. The acquisition is expected to add 10 employees to CBIZ including Lee Nestel of Centric and his team. CBIZ paid $16.5 million in cash, $1.9 million in common stock, and $10.2 million in contingent consideration as consideration for Centric Insurance Agency, Clearview National Partners and Lewis Birch & Richardo during first quarter of 2014.
