Callinex Mines Inc. announced that it has appointed Alan Vowles and J.J. O'Donnell to the company's technical team. Mr. Vowles and Mr. O'Donnell have more than 50 years of combined experience with expertise in exploring for copper, zinc, gold and silver rich VMS deposits within the Flin Flon Greenstone Belt. The company is currently utilizing Mr. Vowles to review all geophysical data while Mr. O'Donnell is providing oversight on planned drill holes for the upcoming Phase Two drilling campaign, which is anticipated to commence in July.

Recently, Mr. Vowles was a member of the team presented with the 2009 Bill Dennis PDAC Prospector of the Year award for his role in the discovery of HudBay's Lalor Mine. Prior to this, JJ served as a Senior Mine Geologist for HudBay's 777 Mine. Mr. O'Donnell currently serves as Vice President of Exploration for Selywn Chihong Mining and has led a major expansion of the world-class Howards Pass Lead-Zinc Project, located in the Yukon, Canada.
