Byggmax Group AB (publ) reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 2,203 million compared to SEK 2,546 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 2,207 million compared to SEK 2,553 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 117 million compared to SEK 182 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2 compared to SEK 3.11 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2 compared to SEK 3.1 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was SEK 3,155 million compared to SEK 3,817 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 3,170 million compared to SEK 3,835 million a year ago. Net loss was SEK 15 million compared to net income of SEK 159 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was SEK 0.26 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of SEK 2.72 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was SEK 0.26 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of SEK 2.71 a year ago.
