Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (TSX:BAM.A) is all set to sell one of its marquee road assets, the Mumbai-Nasik Expressway, as it wants to restructure its portfolio in India, according to two people aware of the development. Brookfield has started negotiations with potential buyers to sell the road asset at a valuation of INR 8 billion. Mails sent to Brookfield, did not elicit any response while IRB Infra, Macquarie and Cube Highways declined to comment.
