Brewin Dolphin has seen a wave of divisional director departures across its regional offices. Three of the exits took place in the firm's London office. Divisional directors Keith Leberman and Raf Saidi have both taken retirement but plan to continue working with the firm on a consultative basis. David Merrifield, who had joined from Invesco in 2003 along with Saidi, has also exited Brewin. Meanwhile divisional director Anthony Behrens, who was on the charities team in London, has retired. Bryan Johnston and James Andrew Norris have also taken retirement from the Edinburgh and Leicester offices, respectively. Elsewhere, financial planning manager Philip Smyth has left the Belfast office, while Finbarr O'Mahony has also departed the business. At the time, five support roles were made redundant and eight members were set to move over to Exeter. Last week, the business announced that investment management head Stephen Ford had left the business as part of a restructure of the firm's board.
The restructure of the board saw London co-head Charlie Ferry and senior regional director Stephen Jones promoted to the executive committee, alongside London co-head Paul Jones, who has been appointed chief of staff. Financial planning head Nick Fitzgerald and intermediary head Robin Beer also joined the executive committee.
