Alexis Hanquinquant, Jean-Christophe Rambeau and Audrey Cayol are high-level athletes and Bouygues group employees, who harnessed their tenacity and passion for life to start over after their accidents and achieve their goals.

To raise awareness amongst employees, particularly those in charge of recruitment, Bouygues is launching a collection of new podcasts that share the stories of inspiring athletes and is renewing its partnership with four parasports athletes. The established triathlete, sitting volleyball champion and wheelchair basketball star have taken to the microphone to speak to journalist Annabelle Baudin and serve as an inspiration to us all.

Bouygues first boosted its Disability Policy in 2021. Called 'Starting B.' (in reference to starting blocks and the Bouygues brand), this initiative frames awareness-raising actions. Its goals are to promote the recruitment of people with visible or non-visible disabilities, facilitate their arrival at the company, enhance their career development and advocate accessibility across all the Group's activities.

NEW PODCASTS AVAILABLE TO ALL

The three new speakers have joined the Starting B. podcast collection, Listen to our stories, available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify: Alexis Hanquinquant, a Bouygues Construction employee. Alexis Hanquinquant is a multi-medal winning para athlete and won gold at the European Triathlon Championships in 2023. He is five times PTS4 world champion and won a gold medal at the 2021 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Alexis currently works in the Health & Safety Prevention department at Bouygues Btiment Grand Ouest (Rouen).

He is also the founder of Tiik Taak Boom, a charity with which he is actively involved. He is currently taking part in the sitting volleyball world cup in Egypt.
