DUBAI, June 4 (Reuters) - The Qantas chief executive said on Tuesday she was confident Boeing would address the quality issues at the American planemaker, which have plunged the company into a crisis.

"I'm very confident when I speak to the Boeing leadership team that they are very focused on what they need to do to address their quality issues," Qantas CEO Vanessa Hudson told reporters at an airline industry conference in Dubai.

"Everything that we've heard from Boeing gives me the sense that they will get on top of it."
