(Stock Code: 710) UNUSUAL PRICE AND TRADING VOLUME MOVEMENTS AND PRESS CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

This announcement is made by BOE Varitronix Limited (the "Company") pursuant to Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the "SFO") and Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board") has noted the recent increases in the price and trading volume of the shares of the Company. Having made such enquiry with respect to the Company as is reasonable in the circumstances, the Board confirms that we are not aware of any reasons for these price and volume movements or of any information which must be announced to avoid a false market in the Company's shares or of any inside information that needs to be disclosed under Part XIVA of the SFO.

The Board has also noted that there are press articles referring the results of YTD Q3 2017 and the recent business development of BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. ("BOE Technology"), the controlling shareholder of the Company, holding approximately 54.42% of the issued share capital of the Company as at the date of this announcement. The Board wishes to clarify that the statements in the press articles relate to BOE Technology, not the Company.
