Boadicea Resources Ltd. announced that it has expanded the exciting Wildara lithium pegmatite exploration project to 84km2 with the acquisition of an adjoining Exploration Licence. The acquired licence, E36/813, adjoins the existing project area to the north and was acquired under a simple sale and purchase agreement with a private holder. The Wildara Project is located 30km southwest of Leinster in the northeastern goldfields district of Western Australia. The project area has been targeted on the basis of highly anomalous lithium results from a Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia ("MRIWA") regional scale bore water geochemical sampling program. MRIWA is a WA government mineral research body that operates in parallel with the DMIRS. The MRIWA survey comprised the sampling of 3,120 water bores across the northern Yilgarn Craton, twelve of which are located within the expanded project area. A total of 10 of the 12 bores returned elevated lithium results with the previously reported peak result of 1,140 micrograms of lithium per litre of water (ug/L) in the original licence being increased to a peak of 2,850ug/L with the acquisition of the new licence. With the acquisition of the additional licence, the Company now holds both the highest (2,850ug/L) and 5th highest (1,140ug/L) lithium anomalous bores within the entire 3,120 sample dataset. These results are considered highly anomalous as only 8 bores within the entire survey returned lithium results above 680ug/L lithium. The basis of the project is that the lithium anomalous bore water is possibly reflecting proximal lithium bearing pegmatites in the area. While no pegmatites have previously been reported within the project, the area has little to no outcrop due to shallow laterite and aeolian sand cover. Geophysics and minor historic gold and nickel exploration drilling confirms a favourable lithium pegmatite setting with mafic and ultramafic greenstones being intruded by at least two granitoid events. Exploration activities have commenced with historic exploration data compilation underway and an initial site visit completed. This work has resulted in the location of diamond drill core for a number of historic nickel exploration holes drilled in the project area that reported intersecting "coarse granites". Relogging of this drill core to investigate possible pegmatites is currently planned. In addition, the gold potential of the project is being reviewed. Exploration Licence adjoining the Wildara Project to the north acquired under a simple sale and purchase agreement increases the project area to 84km2. New licence covers the extension of the MRIWA hydrogeochemical (bore water) lithium anomaly and includes a peak anomaly of 2,850ug/L lithium which is the highest anomaly within the 3,120 sample dataset and more than twice the peak anomalism within the existing project area. In addition to the primary target of lithium pegmatites, the Company has commenced a review of historic gold exploration activities and results within the project area.
