Blue Coat Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BCSI), a leading provider of Web security and WAN optimization solutions, today announced that it led the worldwide Content Security Gateway Appliance market, according to the most recent market share report from Infonetics Research. Blue Coat has led the market every year since 2006, when Infonetics first began reporting on Content Security Gateway appliances.

Blue Coat also held nearly twice as much market share as its nearest competitor in Central and Latin America (CALA) with 29.4 percent of the market.
