Bar Harbor, Maine - Curtis C. Simard, President and CEO of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, along with the Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Chapman to Vice President of Facilities and Susan Albee to Branch Relationship Manager at the Machias branch.

Jason Chapman, VP/Facilities, joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in May 2015 as Facilities Manager. He is responsible for managing the Com- pany's facilities; overseeing construction projects, directing building repairs and improvements, negotiating contracts, as well as supervising the purchasing department and mailroom. Prior to joining the Bank, Jason worked at The Jackson Laboratory in Facilities Maintenance and as Safety Specialist. He has extensive experience in residential and commercial plumbing, heating and electrical trades and holds Journey- man Electrician, Plumbing and Oil Burner licenses. Jason's previous employers include Coastal Energy and MCM Electric, both in Mount Desert, Maine.

Growing up in Bar Harbor, Maine, Jason is a graduate of Mount Desert Island High School. He earned his associate's degree from Eastern Maine Community College in Applied Science: Electrical and Automa- tion Technology. An avid outdoors man, Jason and his family love tak-

ing advantage of all the outdoor recreational activities the State of Maine has to offer. In the communi- ty, Jason is a member of the Maine Snowmobile Association-Frenchman Bay Riders Snowmobile Club. He resides in Lamoine with his wife, Alexis, and their son, Barrett.

Susan Albee, Branch Relationship Manager in Machias, joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in 2003 as a part-time Customer Service Repre- sentative and was soon hired full-time. In 2010 she was promoted to Customer Service Manager. Susan's responsibilities include running the day to day operations at the Machias branch, overseeing the Cus- tomer Service Representatives and assisting customers with issues or concerns as well as consumer lending. Before joining the Bank, Susan worked for Downeast Healthcare Foundation in the medical billing of- fice and as a receptionist.

Having grown up in Cutler, Maine, Susan is a graduate of Washington Academy and attended the University of Maine, Machias. In the com- munity, Susan serves on the Board of the Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Eastern Maine Elite Cheering. She and her husband, Keith, live in Machias and have two children.
