Item 7.01  Regulation FD Disclosure
On January 11, 2022, Avanos Medical, Inc. (the "Company") posted an investor
presentation to its website at https://avanos.investorroom.com/. A copy of the
investor presentation is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form
8-K. The presentation will be used by the Company in its prepared remarks at the
J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. The presentation indicates that the Company's
2021 adjusted earnings per share ("EPS") will likely fall below the $1.10 to
$1.20 per share guidance previously provided, as improved gross margins will
finish short of expectations during the three months ended December 31, 2021.
However, that statement does not take into account certain expected tax
benefits. Inclusive of the additional expected tax benefits, the Company still
anticipates EPS for the year ended December 31, 2021 to be in the guidance range
of $1.10 to $1.20 per share.
