VEF AS (Valsts Electrotechniska Fabryka or VEF JSC) is a Latvia-based company. It focuses on the management and administration of its real estate, rendering space rental and provision of electrical services to consumers, as well as trading, collection and sorting of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal, electronic and electrical equipment and devices. In addition, it is engaged in the power and water supply, as well as provision of sewage services. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's major shareholder was VEF Komunikaciju Serviss SIA with a stake of 45.52%.
