AQ Group AB Reports Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended June 30, 2024

AQ Group AB (publ) reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2024. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 2,254 million compared to SEK 2,345 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 2,287 million compared to SEK 2,388 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 180 million compared to SEK 170 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 1.97 compared to SEK 1.86 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 1.96 compared to SEK 1.86 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was SEK 4,479 million compared to SEK 4,598 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 4,550 million compared to SEK 4,684 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 364 million compared to SEK 328 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 3.98 compared to SEK 3.58 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 3.97 compared to SEK 3.57 a year ago.
AQ Group AB is a Sweden-based company, which develops, manufactures and assembles components and systems for industrial customers. The Company's business consists of the two segments: System and Component. The System segment includes electric cabinets and system products business areas, and produces systems, power and automation solutions and assembles complete machines in close collaboration with the customers. The Component segment encompasses business areas of injection molding, inductive components, wiring Systems, sheet metal processing, as well as special technologies and engineering. This segment produces transformers, wiring systems, mechanical components, punched sheet metal and injection-molded thermoplastics. The Company operates through its subsidiaries in Finland, Estonia, Mexico, India, Canada and China, among others.
