AptarGroup, Inc. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was USD 749.329 million compared to USD 671.333 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 81.523 million compared to USD 74.490 million a year ago. Net income was USD 53.232 million compared to USD 48.533 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.82 compared to USD 0.76 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.79 compared to USD 0.73 a year ago. For the full year, sales was USD 2,929.340 million compared to USD 2,859.732 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 339.498 million compared to USD 371.693 million a year ago. Net income was USD 214.040 million compared to USD 242.202 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.32 compared to USD 3.81 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.21 compared to USD 3.66 a year ago.
AptarGroup, Inc. is engaged in designing and manufacturing of drug and consumer product dosing, dispensing and protection technologies. The Company serves various end markets, including pharmaceutical, beauty, food, beverage, personal care and home care. The Company operates through three segments: Aptar Pharma, Aptar Beauty and Aptar Closures. Aptar Pharma segment supplies nasal drug delivery spray pumps and metered dose inhaler valves (MDIs) to the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets worldwide and supplies elastomer for injectable primary packaging components worldwide. The segment also provides services designed to accelerate and de-risk the development and regulatory approvals of drugs using drug delivery devices. The Aptar Beauty segment sells a variety of pumps, airless systems and valves to the fragrance, color cosmetics, facial skincare, personal care and home care markets. Aptar Closures segment primarily sells dispensing closures.
