Amryt Pharma plc is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company. It is focused on acquiring, developing, and commercializing novel treatments for rare diseases. Its commercial business comprises three orphan disease products, such as metreleptin (Myalept/ Myalepta); lomitapide (Juxtapid/ Lojuxta), and oral octreotide (Mycapssa). Myalept is approved in the United States as an adjunct to diet as replacement therapy to treat leptin deficiency in patients with congenital or acquired generalised lipodystrophy (GL).
