Allied Industrial Corp., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 303.925 million compared to TWD 238.426 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 574,000 compared to TWD 10.540 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 9.689 million compared to net income of TWD 3.320 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.13 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.05 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 719.548 million compared to TWD 529.514 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 7.227 million compared to operating loss of TWD 22.262 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 18.676 million compared to TWD 495,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.26 compared to TWD 0.01 a year ago.
Allied Industrial Corp., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of dyes. The Company mainly provides dyes and food additives. The Companyâs dyes consist of disperse dyes, reactive dyes, acid dyes, basic dyes, dyeing and finishing auxiliaries and others. The Companyâs products are used in the dyeing and printing of fibers and synthetic fibers, such as acetic acid, polyester, nylon, wool, silk and cotton. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Asia, the Middle East and others.
