Ajooni Biotech Limited announced the launch of the Moringa Project, starting with the lease of a 75,000 square yard land in Bikaner, Rajasthan, for Moringa plantation. This project marks the beginning of company's strategic efforts to cultivate Moringa in Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, with plans to acquire additional land for large-scale cultivation. The Moringa Project is designed to enhance the nutrition of milch animals, thereby increasing productivity and contributing to the reduction of global warming.

Moringa leaves, which contain 18 essential amino acids, are highly valued as a raw material in the nutraceutical industry. Moreover, Moringa oil cake, a byproduct of Moringa seed processing, is a rich source of oil and protein. It offers a cost-effective alternative to mustard and cotton cakes in animal feed, improving the nutritional value and overall health of cattle.

This enhancement in feed quality is expected to boost milk production by 10-15%. Moringa oil, extracted from the seeds, is a viable feedstock for biodiesel and aviation fuel. Additionally, the bark of the Moringa tree can be utilized to produce activated carbon and has the potential to generate lithium for electric vehicle batteries.
