June 5 (Reuters) - Air Liquide said on Wednesday it would invest $250 million to build a new industrial gas plant in Idaho, to supply U.S. chipmaker Micron Technology with ultra-pure nitrogen and other gases.

"This investment will bring hundreds of direct and indirect jobs to Idaho during construction and operation, and the facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2025," the French company said in a statement. (Reporting by Olivier Sorgho and Gianluca Lo Nostro; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
