Aerodrom Ljubljana dd : Turkish Airlines now flying twice a day to Istanbul

Beginning on 31 May, Turkish Airlines is increasing its service between Ljubljana and Istanbul. Passengers will now have the choice of two departures a day from Brnik (compared to the 12 flights a week currently offered by the airline). This year the Turkish flag carrier celebrates 10 years of flying to Slovenia. Over the last decade it has carried around half a million passengers between Slovenia and Turkey. To mark the occasion, we held a small celebration at the airport for passengers and performed a water salute for a Turkish Airlines aircraft.

On 31 May Turkish Airlines is set to increase the frequency of its flights between Ljubljana and Istanbul. Under the airline's new timetable, passengers will be able to choose between two daily departures to Istanbul, compared to the 12 flights per week currently available.

At Ljubljana Airport we marked the announced increase in the number of flights and the airline's important anniversary with a water salute for an arriving Turkish Airlines aircraft and a small ceremony. Passengers disembarking from the aircraft were treated to a surprise performance by the Kamnik Folkdance Group and, after collecting their baggage, a sweet surprise in the colours of Turkish Airlines.
