AerCap Holdings N.V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 1,564.32 million compared to USD 1,002.17 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 1,670.71 million compared to USD 1,232.07 million a year ago. Net income was USD 339.83 million compared to USD 249.75 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.41 compared to USD 1.95 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.4 compared to USD 1.92 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 3,303.87 million compared to USD 2,074.15 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 3,460.73 million compared to USD 2,327.42 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 1,661 million compared to net income of USD 477.78 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 6.92 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 3.73 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 6.92 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 3.68 a year ago.
AerCap Holdings N.V. is an Ireland-based company, which is primarily engaged in aviation leasing. The Company provides a range of assets for lease, including narrowbody and widebody aircraft, regional jets, freighters, engines, and helicopters. Its offering includes new and used commercial passenger and cargo aircraft, and helicopters, on operating lease from its existing fleet and order book. In addition, it offers aftermarket components, equipment and services through its materials business and the lease, purchase and financing of spare engines.
