AEON Specialized Bank Plc. announced that it expects to receive $20 million in funding from AEON Thana Sinsap Public Company Limited, AFS Corporation Co., Ltd.

AEON Specialized Bank (Cambodia) Plc. announced a private placement of 20,000,000 common shares at the price of $1 for gross proceeds of $20,000,000 on May 14, 2024. The transaction will include participation from returning investors, AEON Thana Sinsap Thailand Public Company Limited for 10,000,000 common shares at the price of $1 for $10,000,000 to hold 50% stake in the company and AEON Financial Service Co., Ltd. for 10,000,000 common shares at the price of $1 for $10,000,000 to hold 50% stake in the company.

The registered capital of the company will increase from $20,000,000 to $40,000,000. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the AFS Corporation Co., Ltd. at its board meeting and AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited under No. 5/2024.
