AEDAS Homeskicked off its 2024/25 fiscal year with a significant increase in net sales: in April and May, sales were up 80% over the same two-month period in 2023, confirming the strength of demand for new-build housing in Spain. The homebuilder posted a combined total net sales of 564 units, valued at €256 million, in April and May (including 60 units in co-investment projects), compared to the 314 net units sold for €149 million in April and May 2023.

This significant increase in sales at the start of its new fiscal year was balanced-283 units in April and 281 units in May-and has further improved the visibility that AEDAS Homes has on its delivery targets for the coming two years.

AEDAS Homes observed an increase across the board in all its Regional Branches, especially in its East and Mallorca branch (148 units sold), Center branch (129), and Andalusia and Canary Islands branch (108).

Unique housing offer

"Thesefirst months of the new fiscal year confirm the route that AEDAS Homes chose to take years ago, in which we seek to offer high-quality homes in the most dynamic residential markets," explained Alberto Delgado, Chief Operating Officer of AEDAS Homes, pointing out that that company is now reaping the benefits of this decision and putting a product on the market that meets sustained, resilient demand from customers who are very clear about their needs.

Expanded footprint and international demand

Mr. Delgado underlined the fact that these strong sales figures also reflect AEDAS Homes' larger footprint and the selective expansion strategy it has followed in the past few years, leveraging on the solid national and international demand in Spain's most dynamic residential markets-specifically the very successful start-up of operations in the Canary Islands in 2021 and the decision to develop residential projects in new coastal destinations such as Benicasim (Castellón), Laredo (Cantabria) and Sanxenxo (Galicia).

"Moreover", he explained, "AEDAS Homes has become the benchmark developer in Spain in the minds of international customers-with a significant presence in enclaves such as Costa del Sol, the Levante region, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands", as AEDAS Homes has for years fostered an additional commercial line focused on serving this international clientele, with a specialised product line designed to meet their needs in privileged seafront locations, close to restaurant and leisure areas. Mr. Delgado concluded by saying: "Today, this specialisation has resulted in high volumes of sales to foreigners: in the 2023/24 fiscal year, one in every three homes AEDAS Homes sold was to foreign customers".
