In connection with her upcoming appointment as President, Chief Financial Officer of Albertsons Companies, Sharon McCollam resigned from the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (the "Company") on August 20, 2021. Ms. McCollam's decision was not due to any disagreement with the Company's management or the Board. As previously announced, the Board has an ongoing search for an additional director candidate.
