This advance was mainly explained by a larger income from fees in Chile, due to the 1.6% increment of the average salary quoted by AFP Habitat (in real terms). Non-operating income for the first half of 2016 decreased by 63.4% when compared to the same period of 2015. This was mainly explained by the 77.5% reduction in the profitability of the encaje, in line with the lower investment returns of the funds.
