AbbVie Inc. on Tuesday said it named Robert Michael vice chairman and president.

Mr. Michael, 51 years old, had been serving chief financial officer of the North Chicago, Ill., biopharmaceutical company since 2018 and added the title of vice chairman of finance and commercial operations last December.

AbbVie said Scott Reents, 55, will now serve as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Reents, 55, had been vice president of tax and treasury.

Messrs. Michael and Reents have been with AbbVie since its 2013 spinoff from Abbott Laboratories.
