FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - After a slight recovery over the past two days, the Dax started the week little changed. There is a lack of impulses. The US stock market had closed the day before only slightly up and this Wednesday there is no trading in the United States due to the "Juneteenth" memorial and holiday.

In the first few minutes of trading, the Dax fell by 0.05 percent to 18,123.32 points. Since Friday, the leading German index has since gained 0.7 percent, halting its correction for the time being and breaking away from the supporting 100-day moving average. This line is considered an important indicator for the medium-term trend on the German stock market.

The MDax, which includes mid-caps, fell by 0.14% to 25,554.39 points on Wednesday. The EuroStoxx 50, the leading index for the eurozone, lost 0.10 percent to 4910.71 points./ck/stk
