Ayla Networks, a global Internet of Things (IoT) platform for manufacturers, has added another customer to its roster: Taiwan’s VIZO Technology. The leading global manufacturer and designer of computer peripheral products has built its new WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch using the Ayla IoT platform.

The WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch can be used for one-key control of connected lights and other IoT products in a smart home, through an attractive smartphone mobile app.

“The WISCON Wi-Fi wireless smart switch panels boast a fashionable and well-designed appearance and features LED-embedded light-on status indicators,” said Henry Ho, general manager of VIZO Technology. “As the world’s leading enterprise-class IoT PaaS platform, Ayla provided our WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch with the embedded agents, IoT cloud service, mobile app software services and extensible security to enable us to establish our presence in the smart home and smart building markets.”

“Taiwanese manufacturers have substantial global market presence, and the country’s ‘Productivity 4.0’ strategy is designed to redefine the value of the manufacturing industry by leveraging Taiwan’s strength in communications technology,” said David Friedman, CEO and co-founder of Ayla Networks. “Through Ayla’s worldwide operations, we can facilitate the development, support and continual improvement of IoT products by Taiwan’s manufacturing industry, including the new WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch.”

VIZO Technology will officially debut the WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch at CES 2017, being held January 5 to 8 in Las Vegas. More information will be available at Ayla’s CES Booth #41160 in the Smart Home Marketplace at the Sands Hotel, Halls A – D.
