Sino-American Silicon Products (SAS) completed the directors election in the AGM today (6/24) and convened its first board meeting of the 14th term to elect 10 directors: Ming-kuang Lu (MK Lu), Hsiu-lan Hsu (Doris Hsu), Tan-liang Yao (Tom Yao), Wen-huei Tsai, Feng-ming Chang, Chin-tang Liu, Hao-chung Kuo, Shao-lun Li, Kai-chiang Company (Legal representative: Hau Fang), Kun-chang Investment (Legal representative: Edward Andrew Ou). Among them, Chin-tang Liu, Hao-chung Kuo and Shao-lun Li were new independent directors, and Doris was elected to be the new chairperson and CEO by all directors, and Tom was elected to remain vice chairperson and president

After stepping down the position of SAS chairperson, MK serves as director on the board throughout the new term, and officially hands over the great responsibility of running SAS to the new chairperson and CEO, Doris. MK was appointed as an honorary chairperson by all directors in recognition of his contributions within the Company in the board meeting today. MK had held the chairperson position at SAS since 2007, with full respect for talents and sound trust in teamwork as well as deeply held beliefs in integrity, professionalism, teamwork and innovation, MK succeeded in renovating SAS' corporate culture.
