The Pacific Life Foundation announced today that it will provide $389,000 in grants supporting the communities where Pacific Life employees live and work in the greater Omaha, Nebraska area. In 2016, the Pacific Life Foundation will contribute a total of $6.25 million in grants nationwide.

Grants totaling $327,500 will be awarded to 28 local nonprofit organizations in the areas of arts and culture; civic, community, and environment; education, and health and human services.

The Foundation’s 3T’s of Education program will give a total of $61,500 in grants to local K-12 schools where there are concentrations of children and grandchildren of Pacific Life employees. A 3T’s of Education grant must be designated in one of the following areas: Teacher Training, Textbooks, or Technology. The 22 Omaha area schools that will be given a 2016 3T’s of Education grant are:
