NetJets® Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company and the worldwide leader in private aviation, announced today that it is planning to accommodate more than 160 NetJets flights in and out of the New York area for the 2014 Super Bowl. The company also is providing concierge service to help its customers obtain hotel and car service, as well as meeting other needs.

The fun begins when NetJets' exclusive event for over 170 customers, dubbed the "Bash Before the NFL Clash," begins on Saturday evening (5:30-8:30 p.m.), Feb. 1 at the famed Gotham Hall in the heart of the Broadway district in New York City. The private event will feature a "chalk talk" pre-game analysis session with sports legends Bill Cowher, Tony Dungy, Chris Berman and Scott Van Pelt, as well as a live concert performance by a multi-year Grammy winning artist.

In 2013, NetJets had approximately 240 flights in and out of New Orleans, the location for the Super Bowl last year. More than 80 guests attended the reception, which was held in the US Freedom Pavilion at the National World War II Museum.

"Our Super Bowl reception is one of the most popular events that we do for our customers," said NetJets Chairman and CEO Jordan B. Hansell. "As we do every year, we will cater to our customers' every need throughout the Super Bowl weekend, and with more than 700 NetJets customers and guests already registered to attend this year, we will give them a weekend to remember, even if they are not planning to go to the game."

NetJets maintains a private lounge offering full amenities within Landmark Aviation's FBO (fixed base operation) at Teterboro Airport, which is the closest private aviation airport to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. NetJets customers will have access to this exclusive facility when arriving and departing that weekend. NetJets also has its own FBO at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York, located about an hour away from the stadium and New York City.
