Jovanka Atanackovic and Mira Marinkovic Nikolic, representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, said that the Agreement amending the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on International Road Transport was signed in 2011 and concerns a licence regime for all types of road carriage. They informed the Committee members that there is a problem with the Russian Federation concerning the lacking numbers of licences for the carriage of goods by road and the Serbian side had in mixed commission meetings conveyed requests to the Russian Federation to liberalize transportation. Following the meetings, the Russian Federation accepted the liberalization of carriage through an amendment to the Agreement, which is the first step toward further liberalization.

Following a debate, the Committee members granted the Serbian Government unanimous consent for the provisional application of the Addendum to the basis for the conclusion of Agreement amending the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on International Road Transport by exchange of notes, pending its coming into force.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Katarina Rakic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dalibor Radicevic, Jovica Jevtic, Goran Kovacevic, Dr Vladimir Orlic, Ognjen Pantovic, Ivana Stojiljkovic, Stefana Miladinovic, Sonja Pavlovic, Goran Ciric, Snezana B.
