The first in 2017 tactic special exercise was held by the Eastern MD engineer formation in the Khabarovsk Krai.
The servicemen conducted engineer reconnaissance of approach routes of combat vehicles. They defused explosives, made passages in obstructions, and repelled attacks of sabotage groups of the conditional enemy. They operated Korshun mine detectors and other equipment. The engineers made passages by IMR-2 obstacle-clearing vehicles.
More than 150 servicemen and about 20 pieces of combat and special hardware were involved in the tactic special exercise.
