Jasco is helping the fight to end the water crisis by pledging 50 percent of Eco Survivor proceeds to clean water projects. Eco Survivor products are about capturing the spirit of rugged durability, overcoming the elements and standing up to life’s many challenges. The biggest challenge for millions of people today is access to clean water that is often directly beneath their feet. The global water crisis claims 3.4 million lives each year.

Jasco’s ‘Giving Hope’ Foundation works with a number of non-profits including Water4, which empowers Justin Wren’s initiative, Fight for the Forgotten, to help achieve the mutual goal to solve the global water crisis in our lifetime. Through the collaborative impact platform, the Giving Hope Foundation has helped raise over $1 million for clean water projects in the past three years.

Many know Justin Wren as a national champion wrestler who became a UFC fighter. Wren now prefers to be known as “The Big Pygmy.” A mission trip to the Congo several years ago changed his life forever. His new fight in life became freeing the Mbuti Pygmy tribe from modern day slavery, who were without a voice or access to clean water. Justin partnered with Water4 to provide that, and they ultimately joined forces. Wren and Water4 have established over 55 water wells and purchased 3,000 acres on which large numbers of Pygmies now live freely.

"The land purchases were huge," Wren added. "Giving them some land of their own that they could be free on -- but water was what really softened the hearts of their oppressors. There are really two innovations to this sustainable method for drilling wells. One is a pump system that can be made using locally available and relatively inexpensive materials, and the second is training the locals to expand sustainable wells themselves, which not only provides clean water, but also provides them a livelihood.”
