Paula A. Ralston Nenish Earns Certification

Honesdale, PA / January 3, 2017 /Paula A. Ralston Nenish, MBA, CIA, CRMA, CCBCO, vice president, compliance officer, and community reinvestment act officer at The Dime Bank, recently earned the Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer designation sponsored by Community Banker University® of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). To earn certification, she had to successfully complete seminars on lending, deposit, and marketing compliance along with developing a compliance program, and she needed to pass comprehensive examinations in each of these compliance areas. Ms. Ralston Nenish, who joined The Dime Bank in May 2013, is responsible for the direction and oversight of the Bank's compliance management system including developing the compliance plan which covers compliance administration,

monitoring, training, board reporting, and complaint resolution. She is also responsible for ensuring proper adherence to the provisions of the Community Reinvestment Act. From a regulatory perspective, she monitors changes in industry regulations, performs research, communicates changes to personnel, and assists management in policy and procedure development and implementation of regulatory changes.

Ms. Ralston Nenish has dedicated her career to the financial services industry, most recently having served as director of internal audit for a local financial institution. In addition, she is an adjunct business faculty instructor at Marywood University, Scranton, PA, and serves on the University's Alumni Association Board and Business Advisory Board. Ms. Ralston Nenish also serves on the Board of Governors for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and supports her community through several volunteer endeavors.

Ms. Ralston Nenish earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Marywood University. She was named one of the 'Top 25 Women in Business in Northeastern Pennsylvania' by the Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal and National Association of Women Business Owners. She resides in Jessup with her husband, David.
