Her Interactive today announced the appointment of Penny Milliken as chief executive officer and continuing member of its Board of Directors. Ms. Milliken, who has served on the Board of Directors since 2003, brings more than 20 years of consumer entertainment experience to her new role as the company expands into new product offerings. Ms. Milliken replaces Stuart Moulder who has served as CEO of Her Interactive since May 2011.

Ms. Milliken’s has worked in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years with over 10 years of brand management and family marketing experience at The Walt Disney Company in the U.S. and Europe. She is credited with some of the most successful branding and franchise roll-outs for entertainment properties. Her broad entertainment background includes theme parks, motion pictures, feature animation, television animation, home entertainment, new media and e-commerce. Penny has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Her Interactive is currently preparing for the launch of its next title in its adventure series for the PC and Mac. Nancy Drew: Labyrinth of Lies will begin pre-orders on Sept. 9, 2014, and will be available at all major retailers on Sept. 14, 2014.
